What's good Peoria!? If we haven't met in person yet... let me introduce myself.  My name is Jason Parkinson...

I was born and raised right here in the 309 and grew up listening to Power 92.3 with my friends.  Working here is a dream come true!  After High School, I attended Spoon River College and Illinois State University (Go Redbirds!) earning a degree in Broadcast Journalism and Web Development.

Between managing a mobile DJ company and programming the best radio station in Peoria, I find some time to spend with my beautiful wifey and great friends!

My wifey and I have 2 cats... she got to name the first one "Roxy" and let me name the second one... "Young Jeezy"  Ha Ha... people always laugh when I tell them my cat is named  Young Jeezy!

Well, I'm a big fan of Italian food (thanks to my Grandparents) but I'll really eat just about anything.  Free Food is even better and I have YET to find a radio DJ that doesn't enjoy free food!

R Dub! was just 16 when he created Sunday Nite Slow Jams in the summer of 1994, and has since hosted and produced the show throughout the years.

Born in Chicago and growing up in L.A. and Orlando, Florida, R Dub! spent his time staying up late at night listening to various "Slow Jams" type radio shows around the country. He loved the music and the overall mood of Slow Jams and at age 13 decided his dream was to host his own Slow Jam show.
