Serenade Your Sweetheart: Jeremy Rain Surprises Listeners With Bremer Jewelry And A Love Song
It’s Valentines Day and that means the annual Bremer Jewelry Serenade Your Sweetheart contest! This year, we surprised 3 lucky Power 92.3 listeners with beautiful earrings from Bremer Jewelry, chocolates and a custom love song performed by recording artist Jeremy Rain from “The Noiz.” Listen to the special “serenade” from Jeremy after the jump.
Our first winner was at home when we surprised her. Tara Uphoff’s husband Nick is stationed in Afganistan and wanted us to surprise his wife with the best Valentines gift she’s ever received.

My wife, Tara has had one hell of a year. We found out she was pregnant with our first child together in March, and then unexpectedly lost her mom in May. She was put on bed rest for the remainder of her already high risk pregnancy. She had our son Steven in October, and then I had to deploy to Afghanistan November 17 just 4 weeks after he was born. A friend of mine emailed me this and told me to try to get online and do this for her. So here I am. She is the most selfless and amazing mother to both our son we have together, and my 5 year old son. She is my rock, my best friend, and puts every once else first. She is a Queen & as strong as she is I know she has had a really hard time since I left. I think this would be amazing for her & I don’t think there’s a single person around that deserves it more! Our next stop was at OSF near the Shoppes at Grand Prairie. Chris Swonger submitted his wife Heidi to get serenaded by Jeremy Rain and we made it happen!

Me and my wife met in high school. We dated for 4 years and then i went into the army and we went our own ways. 5 years after that we ended up getting back together. We never should have split up. While we were apart she ended up with a foster child. After we got back together we found out that the mother of the first child was having another one so we ended up with that child too. We now have 4 children, the 2 we fostered then adopted and 2 we had together. We have been married for 6 years this august. We do what we can to make time for each other but i feel she deserves much more but with 4 kids its really hard to get that time together. I would really like for her to win this because she is a great mother and wife and deserves to be shown how much she means to me and how much i love her. Thank you very much for considering her for this.
Our final stop on the Serenade Your Sweetheart tour for 2012 was at Illinois American Water on North University. We received a letter from Jamie Downard that said she deserved the prize herself.
